Energy consumption heat meter has numerous applications in commercial, industrial and medical fields. For getting higher accuracy while having low maintenance as it has no moving parts, non-invasive flow measurement and the ability to regularly diagnose the health of the meter – energy consumption heat meter or BTU heat meter comes to great help.
As an introduction to ultrasonic time-of-flight (TOF) flow sensing by implementing TDC1000 ultrasonic analogue-front-end (AFE) the meter has an application note which works for the same. Zest Engineering, in its manufactured meters, has provided information with respect to conventional off-the-shelf ultrasonic flow sensor as well as related equations for calculation of how velocity and flow rate. The ultrasonic heat meter has the accuracy range of ±2.0% /±3.0%. It has the pressure drop of <10kpa/qp. The meter’s installation can be done: horizontal as well as vertical and in a slope.
